Job Description: Ministry of Shipping Recruitment 2015 for Member (Traffic) in IWAI, Noida
Ministry of Shipping, Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI), Noida, UP invites applications for filling up the post of Member (Traffic) on deputation basis.

Name of the post: Member (Traffic)

Total no.of vacancies: 01

Age Limit - The age of candidates should not be more than 55 years as of May 26.

The selected candidates will be provided accommodation as per IWAI Policy.

Eligibility
The candidates holding any one of the following posts are eligible to apply for this latest vacancy.
1. All India Service Officers
2. Officers of Group 'A' organized services
3. Officers working in State Road Transport Corporation or Ports
4. Officers holding the post at the level of Joint Secretary or eligible for such appointment.

Salary: The selected candidate will receive a salary in the pay band of Rs 37,400 to Rs 67,000 plus Grade Pay of Rs.10,000.

The term of deputation is 3 years, which can be extended upto 5 years.

The Member (Traffic) will have various responsibilities. Below are some among them.
Marketing and Promotion of Inland Waterways Transport (IWT) activities.
Preparation and implementation of IWT promotional schemes and any other responsibility assigned by Chairman, IWAI.
